I believe that healthy, low risk moms who believe in birth and their bodies should have options outside of hospital birth with an experienced midwife. I love being able to come along side women in creating a safe and comfortable space for you to bring your baby into the world, allowing your baby to bond immediately with you and your family in a peaceful, loving, birth environment. Whether in water or on land, when you birth in your own home you have many choices to birth your way, to move freely, eat and drink as you desire, have whomever you wish in attendance, and rest in the knowledge that you are supported to birth safely.

My goal is that women be empowered by their birth, feel supported and educated, have minimal interventions, trust and know their birth team and have easy access to their provider.

I believe in birth and that the birthing woman has the best chance to have the birth of her dreams if she puts in the hard work of preparing, physically, mentally and spiritually, in anticipation of the big day. Birth is hard work, and it is well worth it!

I have good rapport with local hospitals and Doctors if questions or situations arise during pregnancy, birth or postpartum and I will happily reach out and work with them to provide the best care possible for my clients.

Additionally, I actively teach and train midwifery students and work with local doulas to provide you with the most supportive team possible.

Homebirth Midwife Lactation Consultant, first latch, breastfeeding, physiologic birth

Our job isn’t done once delivery is over. Our team will stay in close contact with you after your birth to provide any assistance needed for healthy development and support throughout your first 6 weeks postpartum and beyond. You will be seen 1 day after your birth, at 1 week, 3 weeks and 6 weeks as well. Ongoing lactation support also available, 2 IBCLC's on staff. (International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants). Ongoing Well Woman Care as well, Paps, UTI's and other intimate wellness needs.
